Moving a VM from VMWare Workstation to ESXI

Moving a VM from Workstation to ESXI is very straightforward. Here in this case I’m moving a Windows 10×64 from VMware WorkstationPro – 15.1.0 to ESXi 6.7.0. The only thing that we need to care about is compatibility, here is the link for the compatibility check. 

1. Connect to the ESXI server from the workstation.
2. Check and alter the hardware compatibility. In this case, I’m choosing compatibility as ESXI 6.5 as Workstation 15 is not compatible with ESXI 6.7.0.
3. Upload the workstation to ESXI.
4. Power on the VM in ESXI.
